Ravenea A genus of about 20 palms found only in Madagascar, where many are threatened in the wild. Ravenea rivularis, the majesty palm, grows along riverbanks and has become one of the most common indoor palms sold worldwide. It stays healthiest with bright light, consistent moisture, and humid air, and it resents drying out.
