Terms of Service

1. The service

xylery lets you create custom QR-coded plant signs, share plant profiles, and collect discoveries as a real-world plant game. Signs are printed to order and shipped by the operator, who contacts you by the email provided at checkout.

2. Accounts

One account per person. Keep your login credentials safe. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may close your account at any time through the account settings page or by contacting us.

3. Orders, preorders, and fulfillment

All sign orders are custom, print-to-order items. Payment is taken in full at checkout. The operator will contact you by email if any questions arise about shipping or fulfillment.

Founding preorder batch

When we are running a founding preorder, your order is paid immediately and produced after the operator's production upgrade. Orders are numbered in the sequence they are placed and fulfilled in that order. We do not guarantee a ship date during the preorder window; you will receive an email when your order enters production.

The founding batch is strictly capped. Once it sells out, checkout closes for that batch and no waitlist is offered.

Refund policy

You may request a full refund any time before your order ships, no questions asked, by emailing the operator at [email protected]. Because signs are custom-made for you, orders are non-refundable once they have shipped, except for defects or damage, in which case the operator may offer a replacement or refund at their discretion.

4. Your content

Plant photos, comments, nicknames, and notes you post remain yours. By posting them, you grant xylery a limited license to display them on the site as needed to operate the service.

5. Community rules and moderation

Be kind and keep content plant-related. We use automated toxicity scoring and human review to enforce standards. Violations may result in muted comments, temporary bans, or permanent account suspension. Removed comments may be appealed through the admin review queue.

6. Disclaimers

xylery is provided as-is. Plant care information and species identification are for educational purposes; always verify care needs for your specific environment. We are not liable for plant health, sign durability, or any indirect damages.

7. Governing law
